Sponsors and Programs

Under Article 23 of the New York State Labor Law, and in accordance with Part 601 of the Regulations Governing the Registration of Apprenticeship Programs and Agreements, we are empowered to register apprenticeship training programs and their apprentices. This list includes:

• Sponsors of currently registered apprenticeship programs
• Sponsor's name as it is registered
• Mailing address
• Date the program was approved
• Trade or trades for which the sponsor has a registered program

Some sponsors may have more than one program. You can search this listing by sponsor name or by trade.

If you are unable to find the name of an employer or sponsor, it may be that they are a participating employer associated with a group of employers or a joint apprenticeship committee (JAC). The JAC would be listed as the registered sponsor. At present, we do not track which employers participate with which sponsors. To verify if an employer participates in a group or JAC program, contact the program sponsor directly.

Barring technical difficulties, this list will be updated daily, Monday through Friday. The list shows the date of the last update.

A list of deregistered and closed programs is available to review below.

VIEW DEREGISTERED & CLOSED PROGRAMS

New program applications are posted for a minimum of 30 calendar days to solicit public comments. During this time, any member of the public can submit comments. Comments received will be posted on the Department’s website at the end of the 30 day period.

If you would like to submit comments, please include the subject line Comments on New Program whether contacting the office via email or traditional postal mail. Please include: (1) Your name, (2) Title, (3) Organization and (4) Comments. Contact information is included at the bottom of this page.

Note: To view an application for a program whose comment period has closed, please contact the Apprenticeship Training Program Office using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page.
