How Can You Help Me and My Child? Some Services Depend On Age

Ages 14-17

Youth under 18 years old who want to work will need working papers. There are three types of working papers, dependent on the child's age. 

Ages 18-24

There are services designed especially for youth who fall into the 18-24 age group to help plan for the future.

New York Youth Jobs Program
The New York Youth Jobs Program helps young people entering the world of work have a successful start. Participants receive critical workforce skills that will serve them well into their careers. Check your eligibility and get certified.
Is Your Child a Professional Performer?

Children working in film, television, modeling, or entertainment must obtain a Child Performer permit before engaging in any professional performances.
