Empowering Opportunities for Older Workers

It is the mission of the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and New York State Office for  the Aging (NYSOFA) to strengthen services and support older New Yorkers. Our collective goal is for older adults to stay active, engaged, working if they wish, volunteering and continuing to be a major economic asset to the state.

Many volunteering opportunities exist in New York State. For general questions about volunteer opportunities available in your community, please visit Office of Aging Employment and Volunteering.
