Per the Wage Theft Prevention Act (WTPA), employers must give each new hire a written pay notice. The pay notice includes important information like frequency and rate of pay, the regular payday, and any allowances/deductions. This notice must be given in a worker’s primary language if NYSDOL provides a template in that language.
