Labor Statistics for the Finger Lakes Region

Private sector jobs in the Rochester metro area increased by 2,100 or 0.5 percent, to 444,700 in the year ending November 2025. Job growth was centered in private education and health services (+3,500) and professional and business services (+800). Losses were greatest in leisure and hospitality (-1,300), manufacturing (-500) and information (-200).
