How do I create a Scheduler account?
The Workforce Scheduler is part of Labor Online Services through your NY.gov account. If you already have a NY.gov account with the NYS Department of Labor, you already have access to Scheduler and can start using it immediately! If not, simply create an ny.gov account.
How do I sign in?
Go to www.labor.ny.gov/signin and sign into your my.ny.gov account. Click on the “Workforce Scheduler” button on the My Online Services page.
How do I set up Scheduler text messaging?
On www.labor.ny.gov/signin update your account profile and "opt in" to receive text messages. You will receive a text message from (833) 322-1260 and follow the instructions.
How do I disable Scheduler text messaging?
Text stop to (833) 322-1260.
How do I re-enable Scheduler text messaging?
To opt back into receiving notifications related to your Career Center appointments, text ‘START’ to (833) 322-1260.
How do I change my email address or cell phone number with Scheduler?
Scheduler uses your NY.gov contact information. To change your email address or cell phone number, log into your ny.gov account www.labor.ny.gov/signin. Click your name in the bar at the top of the screen, and select update your Account Profile. Scroll down and click Change Account Information.
Will Scheduler work on my cell phone?
Yes. Scheduler is accessible on your smart phone or mobile device.
How can I contact my career center?
Locate your local career center by visiting: https://dol.ny.gov/career-centers
How do I locate my virtual appointment information?
Sign into my.ny.gov, select “Workforce Scheduler,” and you can view upcoming appointments. The meeting link will be made available through the portal in the Upcoming Appointments section.
How do I join my virtual meeting?
Virtual meetings are held through Microsoft Teams. Click the Teams link in your appointment notice to join the meeting. You are not required to download the Teams app. You can join from a browser.
How do I locate my appointment letter?
Appointment letters are attached to your appointment notice on the Workforce Scheduler.
What email address will Workforce Scheduler emails come from?
Do I have to attend my Career Center appointments?
If you are collecting Unemployment Insurance benefits, Career Center appointments are mandatory.
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?
To reschedule your appointment, you must sign into my.ny.gov and select “Workforce Scheduler.”  Select the appointment and click Reschedule. Please note, in some cases you may need to contact your Career Center to reschedule.
What if I missed my mandatory Career Center appointment?
Contact your Career Center immediately using the contact information in your appointment notice. You can also find your Career Center by using this link: https://dol.ny.gov/career-centers.
How can I schedule a Career Center appointment?
You can schedule some appointments through the Workforce Scheduler by selecting “Book Appointment”.
Can I contact the Career Center or the Unemployment Insurance Division through the Scheduler?
No. The Scheduler does not provide communication directly with Career Center or Unemployment Insurance staff. Automated Scheduler messages are sent from a no-reply email address.
