Current Employment Statistics - Average Hourly & Weekly Earnings

Overview

The Current Employment Statistics (CES) program produces detailed industry estimates of nonfarm employment, hours, and earnings of workers on payrolls by place of work. The estimates for hours and earnings include average weekly hours, average weekly earnings, and average hourly earnings by industry. Hours and earnings estimates are available for two categories of workers: production workers and all private sector employees. Hours and earnings figures are available for New York State and New York City for selected industries. These estimates are developed and distributed monthly.

This dashboard displays the most up-to-date information available for average weekly hours, average weekly earnings, and average hourly earnings by industry for New York State and New York City. Monthly data is available back to 2007.
