Using the Unemployment Insurance (UI) dashboard below, you will be able to look at information for benefits paid, beneficiaries and initial claims by region, industry, and program.
UI information is updated each Thursday. It is available for New York State’s 10 Labor Market Regions and Out-of-State Residents.
The dashboard below can be used to explore the data in multiple ways:
Amounts Paid - Allows you to retrieve information about benefits paid based on labor market region, industry, and UI program.
Beneficiaries - Allows you to retrieve weekly information about beneficiaries based on labor market region, industry, and UI program.
Pandemic Period Beneficiaries - Allows you to retrieve information about pandemic period beneficiaries based on labor market region, industry, and UI program. The pandemic period references March 2, 2020—September 10, 2021, when federal programs ended.
Initial Claims - Allows you to retrieve weekly information about initial claims based on labor market region, industry, and unemployment insurance program.
