MEDIA ADVISORY: NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR HOSTS SECOND JOB FAIR FOR IMPACTED EMPLOYEES OF SUMITOMO RUBBER PLANT

WHEN: Friday, January 10, 2025

TIME:10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WHAT: At the direction of Governor Hochul, the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) will host a second job fair for impacted employees of the Sumitomo Rubber Plant. Regional manufacturing businesses are expected to be available to explore new career opportunities and answer questions about gaining employment. NYSDOL Career Counselors will also be on hand to provide career coaching and resume assistance. This event will also be open to all job seekers in Western New York.
