Overview
Career Jumpstart! is a flexible youth and young adults career exploration and engagement model developed by the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL). The model was piloted in 2021 with the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance and six not-for-profit organizations.
The program is modular and highly customizable to different age groups, time commitments, settings, and career areas. Youth professionals may integrate the Career Jumpstart! modules and activities in their current programs to help youth and young adults be ready for the world of work.
