The NYS Department of Labor’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs acts as the primary liaison between the department and elected official’s offices on all department areas. This page is designed to be a resource to help you understand what’s new at the department, to answer questions from your constituents, as well as an outlet to contact our staff for more personalized assistance. This webpage also includes a contact list for our staff, recent newsletters/press releases, and other content of interest for elected officials, and upcoming events both virtual and around the state.

In addition to the Intergov. team, Commissioner Reardon has regional representatives throughout New York State are of assistance at the local level.

Elected Official Inquiry System (EOIS)

Have a question on behalf of a constituent? Intergovernmental Affairs manages the NYS Department of Labor’s Elected Official Inquiry System (EOIS), upon submission of an inquiry through this system, a member of our staff will work to resolve the issues presented. The EOIS is only available to Elected Official’s offices. Please contact a member of our staff to request access.
