Cannabis Transferable Skills Assessment Tool

Overview

The Cannabis Transferable Skills Assessment Tool is designed to help you discover how your existing skills and knowledge can be applied to expected roles in the cannabis industry. Your transferable skills come from prior work, training, education, hobbies, and other experiences.

To learn about various ancillary and support positions that do not involve directly working with cannabis plants or products visit Ancillary Jobs on DOL's Cannabis Career Exploration page.

The skills, jobs, and descriptions in this tool were sourced from national job boards and cannabis markets within and outside of New York State and do not represent the policies of the NYS Office of Cannabis Management or NYS Department of Labor.
