Responsibilities
The Public Subsidy Board reviews requests to decide if a project is covered by New York State Labor Law Section 224-a, which concerns prevailing wage requirements for construction projects under private contract. The Board also holds public hearings and makes recommendations for projects covered by New York State Labor Law 224-a.
Membership Information
The members serve without salary or other compensation. They are eligible for reimbursement for qualifying expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
