Everyone working in New York State is entitled to receive the New York State hourly minimum wage rates.
This rate varies depending on your region, and the type of work that you do. The easiest way to find your rate is to use the Minimum Wage Lookup Tool.
Some industries have different wage rates than the general minimum wage:

Starting in 2027, the minimum wage will be tied to inflation, and increase based on a three-year average of the Consumer Price Index for the Northeast. The planned annual increases may be affected by certain economic and budget conditions. More Information is on the Governor's website.
