Mission
The purpose of the Public Subsidy Board is to ensure fair labor practices by determining if privately contracted construction projects must comply with the prevailing wage requirements of New York State Labor Law Section 224-a.
In its daily operations, the Board reviews requests to decide if a specific project is covered by New York State Labor Law Section 224-a. They also hold public hearings and make formal recommendations for projects that fall under the jurisdiction of this law.

Member Information
The members serve without salary or other compensation. They are eligible for reimbursement for qualifying expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
