Mission
The Pyrotechnician Board of Examiners exists to advise the Commissioner of Labor on the testing and experience required for pyrotechnician licensing and to review cases involving potential license discipline.
To achieve this, the Board advises the Commissioner on the testing, experience, and qualifications of applicants. They may also hold hearings to decide if an applicant's license should be suspended, revoked, or renewed, after which they make a recommendation to the Commissioner of Labor.
