  • Sexual Harassment Model Policy & Training: NYSDOL has finalized the state’s Sexual Harassment Model Policy, a template document that New York State provides to employers to help them comply with State laws and access state-of-the-art policies on sexual harassment and related topics to protect employees in the workplace.   • Help Shape Transgender Employment Study: The Department of Labor is conducting a study on the employment experiences of transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) New Yorkers. This study will be centered around the voices of the TGNC community, and so we’re asking TGNC New Yorkers to tell us about their employment experiences in New York State.   • Gender Wage Gap Report: Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the release of a new report from the New York State Department of Labor on the State's gender wage gap. This new report revisits the findings from DOL's 2018 study on the issue, examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and makes several policy recommendations aimed at addressing the pervasive issue
